Everything you need to know about the venue.
What is your policy on refunds?

All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations except for when a show is cancelled. If the show you bought tickets for is cancelled you will be offered a refund or a ticket exchange.

What happens in case of poor weather?

If our performers and staff can make it to the club, then the show occurs as scheduled. No refunds or exchanges will be offered. If we must cancel a show due to inclement weather, ticket holders will be contacted directly.

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission?

General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.

Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.

Please Note: We do not offer a standing room section and cannot take seating requests or guarantee seats in a specific location.

All tables are in a "community sitting" arrangement, so you may end up seating with other groups.

How long are shows?

Most stand-up comedy shows last 75-100 minutes. On occasion a show will last 120 minutes, but this is dependent on the headliner.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving no later than 30 minutes before showtime. Late arrivals are not guaranteed seats and are not entitled to a refund.
Please Note: The box office will be closed between shows. You will only be able to pick up tickets when the box office is open for your showtime.

Please Note: You can also enjoy the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse or The Cellar, which are located on the floors below, for dinner and drinks every day. Please keep in mind that items purchased in the restaurant or lounge will not be counted as part of your item minimum for shows.

Where can I park?

There is limited street parking and several public (paid) parking lots nearby. There is an underground public lot across the street from us, and there’s a large public lot across from 7th Street Station that’s nearby as well.

Why the two-item minimum?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's requires that you purchase two items from the menu when you come to see a show.  This can be any combination of food/beverage and does NOT include items purchased in The Cellar or at the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse downstairs.

Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $5 charge per person per each item until the 2 item minimum is met. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!

Where are you located?

We are located upstairs at the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse located on 330 N Tryon St.  When you come in the building, head up the stairs directly ahead of you.  Someone will then help you check in or purchase tickets (if a show is NOT sold out).

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased through this website or venue app. Tickets are also available at the door as long as a show is NOT sold out.

Please Note: Tickets are only available through thecomedyclubatduckworths.com, and ticket resale is strictly prohibited. Tickets suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling will be canceled at the discretion of The Comedy Club at Duckworth's.

How can I make sure my party sits together?

While we cannot guarantee seats together, General Admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.

Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.

Please Note: We will only seat complete groups. Your group must enter the showroom together to be seated together. In addition, we do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee you seats in a specific location.

What are the age restrictions for the The Comedy Club at Duckworth's?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's shows are 18 and over.  All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building.  We also ID for the purchase of all alcohol.

Is it handicapped accessible?

Not at this time, we do not have an elevator and are up 1 floor of stairs.  Please be aware of this prior to purchasing tickets.

Are cameras allowed in the club?

Patrons may take personal photographs before or after the show. Taking pictures and videotaping shows during the show without the club’s and the artist’s written consent is strictly prohibited.

Please Note: This policy is subject to change on a show-by-show basis. Some shows may require your phone to be put away upon entering the venue.

Will you be videotaped or photographed?

By entering an event or program, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the The Comedy Club at Duckworth's, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
